The Uncluttered Mother

This reward system for kids was created by a mom who wanted to tackle the issue of teaching children how to earn rewards for themselves.

Set the stainless steel canisters on the counter. Each time your child does what you ask, they earn a chip for a later request. Bad behavior means chips are taken away.  After they have earned enough chips, they can "cash" them in by making a request for an extra cookie, a special video, or to stay up an extra hour before bedtime. Simple yet effective!
